While this is not a waterfront property, the proximity to the ocean affords the sound and scent of the sea nearby. There is a separate waterfront parcel on Harrington Cove just a short walk away that affords access with this offering.
The house is set in an open and elevated setting with a driveway that winds gently uphill from the entrance at Harrington Cove Road.
Surrounded by mixtures of spruce, maple and pine, the private sunny lawns with mature plantings make this a unique and beautiful setting. Other features include a large country kitchen with southern and western exposures, kitchen balcony, formal dining room with cathedral ceiling, a cozy living room with granite fireplace, master bedroom with granite fireplace and bathroom suite. A large deck with a maple tree growing through the center provides both sun and shade. In the backyard, surrounded by spruce and pine trees, there is an enchanting tree house for the kids and even doubles as fun overnight quarters for quests. There is also a rustic gardening shed in the back yard.

Harrington Cove is just a few minutes walk away. sandy beaches nearby, City of Rockland on Penobscot Bay just 7 miles away.
